The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to
international students who wish to study for a period of one year at designated Japanese universities as Japanese Studies Students in order to deepen their understanding of the Japanese language, Japanese affairs and Japanese culture under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program as follows.

ChoongKi Scholarship Association Prizes” for students in Korean Studies Program. 

Two scholarships will be awarded once a year in the next ten years to students who are in excellent academic standing and/or active in academic/cultural activities.

Eligibility: Students majoring in Korean Studies only.
